Pat Williams second Verve recording, Think, Verve V6-5056, was released in 1968. Perhaps the music which gives Pat his greatest personal pleasure occurs in this album and the one which preceded it to quickly become the darling of the disc jockeys. Both feature Pats first love as an arranger: a big band. So enthusiastic were its members that after one of the three sessions in which this album was made , trumpeter Marv Stamm said, This isnt just your album, Pat. Its ours. From liner notes by Morgan Ames. 1986 studio album by Public Image Ltd. AlbumCassetteCompact Disc. Studio album by. Public Image Ltd. But I didn't think the band were good enough or experienced enough really to, like, record the song properly. And that's why I use session people. The album was recorded in late 1985 in New York. Ginger Baker's and Tony Williams' drums were recorded at The Power Station by engineer Jason Corsaro. Steve Vai's lead guitar parts were recorded at Electric Lady Studios and the rest of the album at RPM Studios and Quad Recording Studios, all engineered by Robert Musso.
